I've tried the Magpul AFG before and was not a fan. I couldn't seem to get a good grip on it, and the angle felt more awkward to me than gripping a bare fore-end. Just found this company called Fortis Mfg, and they make a couple different "angled" foregrips that I'm thinking of trying out. If anyone has experience with these guys, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Conversely, if I'm the first one here to try them out, I'll put together a gear review. I like the AFG on shorter guns like my AR Pistol you saw a few weeks back. For my 16" AR I'm building though, I'll be using something lower-profile like B5 Systems "Grip Stop" Magpul XTM (Mlok or Picatinny only) or a Railscales "S3" Hand Stop

I'll look into those, thanks! My new Troy AR is all Keymod, so that's probably going to limit my options somewhat.

The only reason Magpul doesn't offer a key mod is because they're the ones who developed m-look system so obviously they are going to promote a competitors set up.

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the Magpul AFG anyway, so no love lost there haha!
